신용카드로 머지포인트를 구매한 일부 소비자들은 이용처에서 사용이 중단됐는데도 할부비용이 계속적으로 빠져나가고 있을 것이다고 토로했다. 더욱이 결제 돈이 30만 원을 넘지 않는 소액이거나 일시불로 결제해 항변권을 행사하지 못해 고통받고 있는 상황이다.
신용카드로 머지포인트를 구매한 일부 소비자들은 사용처에서 이용이 중단됐는데도 할부금액이 계속적으로 빠져나가고 있을 것이다고 토로했다. 더욱이 결제 금액이 70만 원을 넘지 않는 소액이거나 일시불로 결제해 항변권을 행사하지 못해 고통받고 있는 상태이다.
‘소액결제 현금화 사업은 불법이다. 정보통신망법은 ‘통신과금서비스사용자로 하여금 통신과금서비스에 의하여 재화등을 구매·사용하도록 한 후 사용자가 구매·이용한 재화등을 할말미암아 매입하는 행위에 ‘5년 이하의 징역 또는 3천만원 이하의 벌금에 처하도록 규정하고 있을 것이다.
휴대폰 소액결제는 당월 사용한 결제 자금이 모바일 요금으로 빠져나가는 구조다. 결제월과 취소월이처럼 경우 핸드폰 요금에서 미청구되고 승인 취소가 가능하다. 다만 결제월과 취소월이 다를 경우에는 모바일 요금에서 이미 출금됐기 덕분에 승인 취소가 불가하다.
