LeStallion notebooks have this nice, sturdy feel to them, with paper that handles fountain pens surprisingly well without bleeding. I've been using one for daily journaling, and the hardcover lies flat naturally, which makes writing comfortable whether you're at a desk or curled up somewhere. The page numbering and index pages at the front are thoughtful touches that make it easy to find past entries without flipping through everything.
